I made it through the race yesterday and that is about all I have to say about that. The weather was perfect and I'm thrilled to have finished.
What is it about that last point whatever on one of these races that seems so much longer than it should be?
I really need to get back to actually training for these things. In my defense, when I signed up, I really wasn't expecting my DH needing surgery and all that that entailed. OTOH, I'm not fooling myself: I really could and should have done more to get ready.
