The semester has kicked off and I'm counting the days 'til it's over. Love me; love my bad attitude.
I'm at a point where I have completed all of my required courses and that leaves a few electives to ensure I have enough hours to graduate. The problem is that I'm limited on what electives are available.
Class #1 = an IT class for business students. It's on the list of recommended classes for students with an interest in technical management. I shouldn't have any issues with the material; however, there is one of THOSE students. You know who I'm talking about: the one who ALWAYS has a question and it probably isn't anything particularly important or relevant to the class. This could make for a long semester.
Class #2 = Business Law. Dum Dum Dum. It was this or an intro to HR. I'm still not sure I made the right choice. The professor sounds like a character from the Simpsons. The annoying student in this class works for an insurance company and styles himself like (a young) Michael Douglas. It's a good thing we are finishing week 3 of this 8 week course tonight.
All of this leaves me with just 1 course to take. I could conceivably take it in the second half of this semester but there is really nothing of interest that doesn't conflict with Class #1 that runs the full 16 weeks. Grr... So, rather than take something like Advanced Financial Statement Analysis (a particular challenge since I haven't taken Beginning FSA), I hope to find something to take in January.
