Tuesday

Quick post before I go to work.

Late night last night. My SIL had to be out of town so we had puppy duty. I made one last stop before heading home from class and then, of course, I had to deal with my own dog. She does not like it when I come home smelling of that-other-dog. (They actually get along fairly well, so far. Had I known SIL would be gone so long, I think we'd have just brought her baby over to hang out at our house.)

Workout: Bender Method Core Training - My SIL bought this set for us and today was my first chance to give it a try. The Bender Ball is a small (~10" diameter) stability ball that adds a balance challenge to abs/core/etc moves. The exercises had a Pilates-feel to them with emphasis on form and breathing. This DVD is almost more instructional than a workout but has 3 very short ab workouts that feature progressively more challenging variations. Doing all 3 ran about 15 min. I can see subbing this on days when ARX just isn't going to happen! I also have the Buns and Thigh workout. I'll probably give that a shot later this week or tonight. (It's also around 20 min.)

Rose, you are so consistent with workouts that it really inspires me. Not enough to get up at the moment, but later, I promise! :-)

BTW, I pre-ordered one of Tracey S's new workouts (parts series) long ago and it came yesterday. I think I'll be trying out the "glute camp" later...

Let me know what you think. I've yet to try any of her workouts.

"Glute Camp" sound pretty painful.

That Bender thing made my abs HURT. Seriously, I still have DOMS.
