Monday

Diet Coke is just evil. I'm convinced of it. I mean, I've never thought of it as a 'health food' but some days it's just downright evil, IMO. I've noticed it really affects my sleep cycles. Yesterday afternoon, for example, I had my first DC in weeks. Last night, despite being exhausted, I barely slept. I could fall asleep but I just couldn't stay asleep. Grrr. I'm positive it was the Diet Coke even though I finished drinking it before dinner.

At any rate, it sounds like another early night for me.

In other news, I think I finally got Shoulders & Arms right yesterday because today, when I got up and did Yoga X (yes, the whole thing!), I thought my arms were going to fall off during the Warrior series. O.M.G. At first I could not figure out why I was struggling so much to get my arms up during Warrior 2. My shoulders were on fire. Then it hit me. Oh yeah. Yesterday's workout.

Also, the ab work in Yoga X did not make me nauseous this week. Maybe it's the eating/not eating before working out? As in, last week I did it after dinner and this week I did it before breakfast?

Hmm, very interesting observation on the Yoga X. I admit I haven't done it yet. Not even once even though I swear I was LOOKING FORWARD to it at some point - what was up with that, I dunno.

Also, do you want to vomit during chair squats???

So are you getting all of this done before you even go to work? My hero! :-)

The chair squats aren't too terrible. He only does a few and only holds them for 20-30 seconds. The half moon and standing splits are far worse imo.

As for this morning, don't congratulate me yet. I was suffering from some major insomnia. Heh.

BTW, last time I did this rotation, I split up Yoga X more than once. The standing (warrior series) poses plus the balance poses is just over halfway through.

I agree, Wendy. I always have a few choice words for Tony at the end when he does the Ohms.
