Happy New Year!!

Well, per our usual, we quietly rang in the New Year last night after our annual party. The party was a big hit. The kids had a blast.

I've been wound up with all of the planning and organizing. DH helped where he could and we kept things fairly simple (Thank you, Costco and Target) but, by the time it was all over, I was wiped out!

I've had to be flexible with my workouts:

Sunday afternoon, I realized that, if I were going to have people over, including my parents, I really needed to get the driveway cleared off. It was then that I learned something: my brand new snowblower works great for clearing snow, but it's not worth squat when it comes to ice. Needless to say, that ended up being my back workout.

I popped in P90X Back and Biceps and did some of the biceps workout but didn't really attempt the back work. I cut ARX off early too.

Monday, I went with Firm Power Yoga because I knew I had to I spend another hour or so chiseling the drive.

Since my back is still pretty sore (not injured or anything like that, just sore muscles), I'm putting off Legs and Back until tomorrow and will do kickboxing today. I think I'll pull out one of the TJ Cardio Parties.
