Saturday

So sleepy this morning! I'm trying to wake up enough to pull out Plyometrics today. At the rate I'm going that should be around 3 pm.

I spent most of yesterday running errands and looking for a coffee table. Don't ask.

I've come to the conclusion that I need to ban myself from Target until after Christmas. That way I can avoid finding things like "Starbucks Drinking Chocolate." I think it was the photo on the front of the package of a spoonful of little chocolate chunks that got my attention. The text on the back sealed the deal: "This melange of fine dark and European-style milk chocolates unites beautifully with steaming milk to create a rich, velvety chocolate beverage with a whisper of vanilla and a shout of indulgence." The last sentence was the kicker (emphasis mine): "Equally divine by the HANDFUL." Not really what a hormonal woman should be reading.

(And yes, that last bit is true.)

On a more positive note, I did spend some time at the grocery store and restocked my fridge with some better choices. Hopefully that will balance out the Starbucks. LOL.

Update: Plyometrics - Done! I started off a little weak but Tony's enthusiasm did carry the day.

Rose, you are too funny!! I avoid Target just because I can easily spend my entire paycheck in there, on a whole lot of nothing, lol.

But the chocolate does sound divine. I am currently eating chocolate-covered pretzel ice cream out of the carton. Mostly I'm digging through the ice cream to find the pretzels. Sigh.

Did you get Plyo X in yet??? I haven't, but will...

You ladies are great for keeping me on track. I was considering blowing Plyo off until I checked in here. ;)

Marie, that ice cream sounds awesome.

I looooove chocolate-covered pretzels!!! The combo of sweet and salty is like catnip to a hormonal woman.

I do not love Plyo X. For some reason the dread factor is sky-high with that particular workout. I think that means I need to start reincorporating it into my routine.

LOL, Laura, I'm not a huge fan of Plyo X either. I definitely prefer Plyo Legs from the Masters Series.
