Thursday

So, last day of week 2. I'm working from home today. My cold is still going strong and it's SNOWING!

My plan is to do as much of X Stretch as I can because I think it will make me feel better to move around a bit.

I'm looking for a substitute for X Stretch because I just don't care for it. Unfortunately, Slim Series Cool It Off isn't much better. I've ordered some workouts from Classical Stretch. I'll report back after my DVDs arrive.

Update: I went ahead and used the first 2 segments of Cathe's StretchMax for just over 40 min of stretching. The first one was great. The second reminded me why I seldom pull this out: I must be doing something wrong when I stretch out over the ball. Arching back over the ball leaves me dizzy and nauseous. I remembered in time to make adjustments, but next time I'll skip the ball stretch and use the resistance band one instead.

Do you have StretchMax? I bought this on a whim and then let it sit virginally in my cabinet for months. I pulled it out one day and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by how good I felt afterwards. So... that would be my recommendation, but you're so knowledgeable about the home vid market that I'm sure you've already purchased and discarded. :-)

Ooh! Good suggestion! I'd forgotten about that one.

I was just going to vote for StretchMax! Great minds think alike.

I'll be interested to hear what you think of Classical Stretch. I like the athlete's stretch the best. Honestly, I dread(ed) both of the Classical Stretch workouts I own but I do (did) always feel better after I do (did) them.
