Friday's workouts were P90X Chest & Back along with Ab Ripper X.
In the Lean Rotation, C&B is only used twice, so it was almost like a completely new workout for me. Those push-ups are killer! I modified a bit to suit my workout space. For the decline push-ups, I used my Bosu instead of a chair and used a stability ball for the back flyes. Since I don't have a pull-up bar, I used resistance bands. The way my room is configured, I'm not sure that I'll be able to install a pull-up bar, so I'm trying to figure out a compromise. I may have to just move this workout to a different room in the house.
Ab Ripper X was just as I remembered. Maybe even worse. Ha! Those V-Up Roll-Ups were really tough on my back. Maybe I need a new mat?
The diet part was not as successful yesterday, but, to be honest, I deliberately did not focus on it very much. Last night was my family's traditional "Day After" Thanksgiving get-together where we all gather with the leftovers (plus a few additions) and do a White Elephant Gift Exchange. It was a little hectic but everyone had a good time, I think.
(My sweet potatoes won the best side dish award and my turkey pot pie scored in the best entree category!)

1. Congrats on the award-winning dishes!!! :)
2. I got this email from Marie:
I have no Internet at home at the moment. Rose and I were starting p90x this weekend. can you leave a comment on her blog or mine as to why I have disappeared? feel free to leave my email as I don't have Rose's here. and I did C&B yesterday and Plyo X today. :) have a great weekend!!!!
Thanks, Wendy! I figured Marie was off-line hanging with her kidlets. :) (And I certainly wouldn't blame her for that.)
I took Ted Allen's advice when it came to cooking this week: Just cook it up with a stick of butter and be done with it! He's definitely right about that.
